Experience a 4 courses typical French dinner in a local’s flat in Bordeaux city center.
Since 2010, the French-style meal have been UNESCO Cultural Heritage classified. Food is a core element of culture so come and get a taste of France throughout its gastronomy.
Duck is the epitome of Bordelaise food. You will try magret (filet) or confit (breast) de canard.
Enjoy a broad perspective on France unique relationship to food, sampling a large spectrum of dishes, home cooked with market fresh seasonal products paired with 3 wines.
The concept includes a maximum of 4 people.
The dinner will be tailored to your taste. I can cater for all intolerances, allergies and dietary restrictions, as long as you let me know in advance.
The menu will be sent to you the day before.

The host
I’ve been working in hospitality for 20 years, everything from a little café in a popular area to a fine dining restaurant in Paris to an award winning restaurant in Sydney. After a few years in Australia, I spent 7 months on my way back to France, passing through 15 countries. Street food and local food were shortcuts into identities. I was hosted by locals who gave me the opportunity to savor the delicacies of their cuisine.
My goal is to provide an authentic french meal shared with a local.

Location
The appartment is located on rue Saint Rémi, in the Old Town, 2mn far from the Grand Théatre.
Accessibility
The flat is situated on the 4rd floor of an old Bordelaise building with no elevator. As inclusive as I want the experience to be, it is not wheelchair accessible and requires to be able to climb some stairs. I would be pleased to help if necessary.
Schedule
The usual schedule is 7.00pm to 10.pm but flexibility is on the menu as long as all guests agree for a modification.
